Muriel Wanless Shultz

Muriel Shultz was born in Henderson, TN on February 20, 1932. She entered Heaven’s gates on March 20, 2018 at the age of 86.
Our Mother who has been “The Rock” of our family was fun-loving and caring to all who knew her. She loved a good time and her beautiful smile is something we will treasure forever. Muriel had an unwavering faith in God and loved to sing the hymns of the church. Amazing Grace was one of her favorites.
She is survived by her children Judy Gallardo, Janet Wanless (John Benoist), and Jane (Willie) Hull who adored her; grandchildren Scott (Jeanne) Waters, Rusty (Arlene) Coleman, Rachel Gallardo, Christina (Stacy) Stephens, John Benoist III, Clayton Wanless, Briana (Travis) Jones, Jayme (James) Driscoll, Jill Smith, Jordan (Darren) Gann; 16 great grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husbands Robert R. Wanless and Eldon "George" Shultz; her parents James Wilson Davis and Rachel Irene Davis (nee Ross); son Michael Wanless; and siblings Carrie Davis Young, Wafford Davis, Max Ray Davis, Wilma Sue Orpurt, Mary Lou Davis, and Katie Lee Oldfather.
We love you and will hold you in our hearts until we meet again.
