Michael J. Schaughnessy, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Mary Schaughnessy; devoted father of Melissa Schaughnessy; loving grandfather of Chyna Schaughnessy; dear brother-in-law of Betty (Mike) Stillman.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Michael J. and Brenda Schaughnessy; three brothers, Wayne Daugherty, Jerry (the late Carol) Williams, and Larry (the late Betty) Schaughnessy.
Michael proudly and honorably served in the United States Army, he also retired from the St. Charles Police Department after 38 years of service. He liked dogs and going to the shooting range. Michael enjoyed going to the movies, bowling, and working on cars. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. Michael was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Chyna Schaughnessy’s Education Fund.
