Mayme Krape

January 18, 1925 — January 22, 2021

Mayme Krape (nee Brown), departed with the angels on January 22, 2021 with her four children at her side. She was the daughter of the late Fern Cecil Brown and the late Thelma Theral Brown (nee Varvil). She was beloved at Spencer Place Assisted Living where she had moved soon after her husband Harold’s passing in 2016. Her family is grateful for the kind, loving, and thorough care she received there. Kindred Hospice also kept a watchful, caring eye on her.

Mayme was a dedicated mother, a committed wife, and a Christian loved and respected by all who knew her, always ready with a helping hand. She is survived by her daughter Marilyn (Richard) Rivers, son Randy (Janice) Krape, and daughters Linda (Jon) Liston and Nancy (John) Merrick, and by ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

As an orphan, she felt strongly about making regular donations to children’s homes around the country. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Children’s Homes Inc., 5515 Walcott Road, Paragould, AR 72450.
