Maxine Lebelle Leuellen, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at the age of 90. Loving wife of 50 years to the late Orson Leuellen: beloved daughter of the late Clifford and Emmaline Stephens; devoted mother of Dick (Paula) Leuellen, Cary (Gary) Embick, and Mark (Lania) Leuellen. Loving grandmother of several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Irene Williams, Leroy Stephens, Bobbie Stephens, Robert Stephens, Maryann Finney, and Joe Stephens. Maxine is survived by many nieces and nephews. Maxine was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Leuellen, and brothers, Clifford “Junior” Stephens, Paul Stephens, Bob Stephens, and Larry Stephens.

Maxine retired from Sears and was semi-retired from Gundaker Real Estate. She loved quilting and sewing. She was passionate about her career in real estate which she retired from after 30 years. Together Maxine and Orson enjoyed picnicking and fishing. Family was very important to Maxine. She loved her family quite dearly. Maxine was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Maxine's name to American Macular Degeneration Foundation or American Stroke Association.

    candle 1Maxine, you will be missed but never forgotten. What a great friend you have been to me. Priority was always in check with you. God, Family, Friends, Job in that order. What a terrific role model of those left behind. You accomplished so much, thanks for sharing a life well lived. Your family has been terrific and caring to you as you have been to them over the years.
    Save some time for coffee and lemon donuts, boy how we loved donuts! .
