Maximilian Sarath “Max” Bosse

Bosse, Maximilian Sarath, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his mother and father on Sunday, October 2, 2016. Max is survived by his devoted parents, Kanha Soy Bosse, Jeffery Lawrence Bosse; his maternal grandparents Sornhean Seng and Sarath Soy; his paternal grandparents Ruth Ann Duesterhaus Bosse and Jerry Joseph Bosse, Sr.; dozens of aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles, and hundreds of first, second, and third cousins.
Max loved books, music, long walks in the park, and the company of friends and family, particularly other children. His favorite book was, “Listen, Listen." Max loved animals. His first word was “meow.” He expressed immense joy when surrounded by his large, exuberant American family, and treasured daily video chats with his loving Cambodian family. Everyone who met Max, whether in person or via technology, was immediately charmed by his ever present and effervescent smile.
Max fought a valiant battle against lymphoblastic lymphoma. The legacy he leaves behind for the medical community will increase the understanding of the disease and contribute to saving the lives of other children.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friends of Kids with Cancer, or Max’s Youcaring fundraiser. Jeff and Kanha have many expenses ahead of them. Whatever funds remain will be used at the discretion of Jeff and Kanha. They may set up a foundation in Max’s name, or donate to an existing charity.
