Mary Joan Pruett

Mary Joan Pruett (nee Kraus), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 at the age of 80. Beloved wife of 59 years to Kenneth Pruett; cherished daughter of the late Hubert and Edna Kraus; devoted mother of Larry (Terri) Pruett and the late Suzanne (husband Jeff survives) Hogge; loving grandmother of Jessica Pence, Corey Pruett, Matthew Hogge, and Andrew Noble; step-grandmother of Taylor Hemmer and Steven DeOrnellis; treasured great-grandmother of Jeremy Pence, Jacob Pence, and Jason Pence; dear sister of Doris Goerke.

Mary was a longtime member of Gateway Inter-City Council, Beta-Eta #3431 Sorority Group, and First United Methodist Church. She was a very caring woman who enjoyed reading, sewing, and crocheting. In her free time, she gave generously of her time, knitting hats for NICU babies. Mary was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mary's honor to the Parkinson's Foundation.
