Mary J. Williams

Mary J. Williams of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019, at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late John Williams; cherished daughter of the late Joseph and Adele Lancaster; devoted mother of Steven (Deborah) Williams, Larry Williams, Ron (Cynthia) Williams, Melinda (Bob) Meyers; loving grandmother of nineteen; treasured great-grandmother of twenty-eight; and dear sister of Alfred (Terri) Lancaster. Mary was also preceded in death by her grandson William Joseph Meyers; sisters Alice Milcic, Juanita Baird, and Doris Batek; brother Joseph Lancaster; and daughter-in-law Laura Williams.

Mary was a member at Holy Cross Lutheran and stayed very involved in the Church Ladies Guild where she made hats and booties for babies. She also sang in the choir and taught Sunday School. She dedicated many years with MEMC before retiring to spend quiet days fishing, traveling with dear friends Dick and Jane, or crocheting and cross-stitching. Mary was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
