Mary Ellen Margaret Luckshis

Mary Ellen Margaret Luckshis of Saint Louis, MO, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Zigmund J. Luckshis; cherished daughter of the late Charles E. and Mary Ellen Eikmeier; devoted mother of Robert Luckshis, Nancy (Mark) Powers, Karen (Danny) Bartlett, and the late Carol Jean Luckshis; loving grandmother of Brian, Justin (Chrystal), Daniel, Jake, Aaron (Sheila), Jamie, and Mike; treasured great-grandmother of Kelsey, Julian, Alexis, Josh, Matt, Joe, Lily, Hailey, Hunter, and Mark; dear sister of Delores Donahue, and the late Charlotte Romaine; and precious aunt and friend to many.

Mary Ellen retired from Macy’s and Famous Barr after many years as a Sales Clerk. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary – Post 161 Ferguson and a care giver to many. Her hobbies included traveling, taking cruises, sewing, quilting, crocheting, solving Jig Saw Puzzles, and playing BeJeweled™. Mary Ellen was a person who never had a cross word for any body and deeply loved her family. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.
