Mary Alice Hayes
December 8, 1924 — June 2, 2019
Mary Alice Hayes (nee Huff), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2019 at the age of 94. Loving wife of the late Kenneth Hayes; beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Pearl Huff; devoted mother of Kathy (Bev) Frecks; cherished grandmother of Kristen (Bob) Miller, Jonathan (Christina) Frecks, and Michael (Kylie) Frecks; treasured great-grandmother of Andrew, Zachary, Addison, Colin, Ethan, Corinne, and Lillian. Mary is also preceded in death by her son, Gary Hayes; and sister, Katherine Hoffman.
Mary retired From the Mississippi Valley School for the Severely Disabled where she worked in many capacities. She also helped her husband run and operate his business, Hayes Welding. Mary loved to quilt and caring for her family and especially her great-grandchildren.
Mary was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Mary's name to Zion Lutheran School, St. Charles, MO.
Graveside service will be held on a later date at Grand View Cemetery in Hannibal, MO.
