Martha “Marty” Ann Spencer (nee Lynch), of St. Peters, MO, passed away Friday, July 2, 2021, at the age of 63. Beloved wife of James Spencer; cherished daughter of the late John and Lila Lee Lynch; devoted mother of Christina (Michael) Moseler and Annie Spencer; loving grandmother of Nick and Ally Moseler; dear sister of the late Gail (the late Dean) White, the late John A. (the late Janet) Lynch, and the late Richard Lynch; sister-in-law of Peggy (the late Paul) Spencer.

Marty was a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell (later becoming AT&T) and stayed with the company for over 30 years and became a CAD technician. She loved spending time on the family farm in Macon, MO, and loved to hunt, fish and craft. Marty had a huge heart, most of all she loved being a grandmother.

Martha was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Marty’s honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

candle 2We met Marty through her close friend and neighbor Susan Irving at the farm in Anabel Mo. She was so excited for Susan after learning that Susan had reconnected with her 1st child (Amy Bratcher). Marty was the life of any get together and loved to do her crafts.

candle 8The world has one less loyal friend, is a bit quieter without her laughter and will be harder for some to carry on without her love, but heaven is having a blast! There is a Marty Party going on!

I worked with Marty in the Engineering Department at AT&T when she was a CAD tech. She was so friendly I really enjoyed being with her. We did our work but had fun too and she made me laugh. We had a silly song we sang together whenever we saw each other.. It makes me sad that she is gone but thinking of Marty makes me smile. I will keep her family in my prayers

My condolences to Marty’s family. I worked with Marty at AT&T in Engineering. She was so funny and always had a story to tell or a picture of her Grandkids to show. She will surely be missed by many,

I had no idea we lost such a beautiful person. I met her thru Renae Spenser- Harding and her family. Renae was like a sister to me and when I met Marty I just felt I had known her forever. I sincerely send my condolences to all of the family. I lost my oldest sister about the same time . I seen this , scrolling for her obituary. 😢🤦🏻‍♀️❤️
