Martha E. “Marty” Canada (nee Walsh), of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at the age of 86. Loving wife of 63 years to the late Jay R. Canada; beloved daughter of the late Leona I. and Thomas P. Walsh, Jr.; devoted mother of Dennis (JoAnn) Canada, Richard (Anne) Canada, Susan Canada, and Janet (Dan) Murphy; cherished grandmother of seven; six step-grandchildren; treasured great-grandmother of 3, step-great grandmother of 11. Martha was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Thomas P. Walsh III and John G. Walsh; beloved aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Marty was a retired Administrator of Garden View Care Center of O'Fallon.  Family was her passion, and she was a driving force in both the Canada and Walsh families. Martha enjoyed the antique car hobby alongside her husband. They belonged to the V8 Ford club for many years.

Martha had many friends at the Winghaven Park Place Senior Living Center. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Memorial contributions may be made in Martha's name to Backstoppers
