Marianne Margaret Muehlberger of Saint Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 77 on Wednesday, September 2, 2020.  Beloved wife to the late, Jack Muehlberger; cherished daughter of Hal and Anne Allen; devoted mother to Scott (Lisa) Muehlberger, Bryan (Cindy) Muehlberger, Shannon (James) Nichols and the late Robert Muehlberger; adoring grandmother of Lyssa Campbell, Josh (Whitney) Muehlberger, Aubree Muehlberger, Riley Muehlberger, Kyle Muehlberger, Brady Muehlberger, Gracie Muehlberger, and Stella Nichols; treasured great grandmother of Caden Campbell, Tristan Muehlberger, and Liam Hubbard. She is also survived by her nieces, Christy Sanders and Paula Kiker. Marianne was preceded in death by her siblings, Rosalee Wietharn and Gerard Allen.

Marianne’s faith was very important to her and as a devoted member of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church for over forty years, she had the honor of serving as a Eucharistic Minister. Marianne also worked part time at the parish school as a kitchen manager for 20 years.

Above everything else Marianne prided herself as a dedicated wife and mother. Her devoted and caring personality was a great source of strength for her loved ones over the years and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday September 5, 2020, 2PM CST at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church in St. Charles, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Marianne to the Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition ( or St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church in St. Charles.

    I was so very sorry to hear of Marianne’s passing. I have very fond memories of her working the cafeteria at St. Roberts – she ran the kitchen like a well oiled machine! 🙂 That picture is just how I remember her – with a beautiful smile on her face. Prayers for all of her family.

    Shannon, as you and Vicky grew to be good friends, I got to know your mother quite well. I remember working in the cafeteria with her, attending Your soccer games with her and driving the two of you all over creation . Lovely memories, lovely woman. —Diane Chisholm

    Was so sorry to hear of Marianne’s passing. She was such a joy, always greeted me with a big, million dollar smile. I will miss her joy, her kindness, and love for everyone. Know she is with Jesus, smiling down on us.
