Lucille A. Begley (nee Donnelly), of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at the age of 95.  Beloved daughter of the late Peter and Lucille T. Donnelly; loving mother of Kelly (Lonnie) Koerber, Kevin Begley, James Begley, Kimberly Sellini, and the late Patrick Begley; mother-in-law of Michele Begley; cherished grandmother of Jason Koerber, Justin Koerber, Jacob (Chelsea) Koerber, Elizabeth Begley, Daniel Begley, Emma Begley, Terry (Alexa) Bibb, Jr., Timothy Sellini, and the late Amy Koerber; treasured great-grandmother of Liam Koerber, Linkin Koerber, Hunter Koerber, Billy Woerheide, James Woerheide, Fyona Coffey, Keeghan Baer, and Terry Lee Bibb, III; dear sister of John (the late Sue) Donnelly and the late Edward (Mary) Donnelly.

Lucille was an accounting clerk for Cummins Diesel and retired after more than 25 years of dedicated service to the company. She worked until age 75, and she never missed a day at the office, and she didn’t want to retire either.

Lucille loved to play bingo and take bus tours to Tunica to play as well. She enjoyed reading, especially romance comedies and mysteries, Nora Roberts was one of her favorite authors. In her younger years, she was a wonderful dancer and enjoyed ballroom dancing with her friend, Lou, at Casa Loma Ballroom.

Above all, family was most important to Lucille, and she loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. She always looked forward to family get-togethers and dinners on Saturdays at Kelly’s.

Lucille was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Memorial contributions may be made in Lucille's name to Five Acres Animal Shelter

Baue Funeral Homes is currently following CDC recommendations regarding mask and social distancing policies.
