Lori A. Ritchey, of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021 at the age of 58.  Beloved daughter of Barbara Giesler and the late John Thomas Giesler; dear mother of Sara Ping and Timothy Ping; grandmother of Sophia Harmon; and sister of Jackie (Doug) Bunting.

As a loving mother, she always encouraged her children to be involved in sports and activities in school, and looked forward to them succeeding in all they did.

Lori was a true social butterfly who rarely met a stranger.  She loved spending time with friends and family.  She was very active and enjoyed playing softball and field hockey in her younger years.  Lori loved animals, whether she adopted or rescued them, they were always around.

Lori enjoyed her life to the fullest and did not spare a moment, she gave it her all.  She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Memorial contributions may be made in Lori's name to Five Acres Animal Shelter.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Baue Funeral Homes does require all family members and guests to wear a mask while visiting our facilities. Social distancing is required, and guests should stay at least 6 feet apart. Thank you for your understanding.

candle 1Lauren was definetly a social butterfly and a lover of animals. When around her she would tell stories and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Although I hadn’t seen her in a while I can picture her smile and hear her laugh. I know she’s enjoying heaven and one day we will meet again. Until then, hold the fort down and watch over Sara and Timmy. Love ya girl!!!!
