Linda M. Boedeker

July 3, 1947 — May 13, 2020

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our loving and devoted mother, grandmother and friend, Linda M. Boedeker (West) on May 13, 2020.

Linda was born to Elvera and Lloyd West on July 3, 1947 in Streator, IL.  In 1960, her father moved her and her sister, June, to St. Louis. There she graduated from Mercy High School in 1965.

She married the late Richard Boedeker in 1966 and they lived in Maryland Heights, MO until relocating to Dardenne Prairie in 2004. She leaves behind her mother Elvera West and sister, June Loebach and family. Linda was a dedicated mother to her three children: Lisa (Brad) Crawford, Rick (Tracy) Boedeker, and Kristen (Scott) Schoenfisch.  and was so very proud of her eight grandchildren: Ryan, Lauren, Mason, Kyle, Katelyn, Jacob, Luke, and Josh. All who loved her dearly and will never forget her generous love.

Linda lived a full life as a wonderful mother, stay at home mom and employee at Forms Plus.   Linda loved to be "on the go". She enjoyed time spent with others and was always up for going out. She was a huge fan and season ticket holder of the St. Louis Football Cardinals and Rams.  While her children were growing up, she was very involved in her parish, St. Blaise. She loved her neighbors both recent and long ago and built many friendships along the way.  She personified style and grace. She loved her gang of friends and their lifelong friendships, Mexican dinners out, and life at "the lake". Most of all she loved her family.

In 1989 she was diagnosed with a tumor in her pituitary gland. Later she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and Trigeminal Neuralgia.  With the help of her husband, she battled those illnesses well, until her dementia began. Her family is extremely grateful she knew them until the end. She passed peacefully in the loving care of Evelyn's Home, hospice.
