Linda L. Gochnour–Parkus of St. Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 68 on Thursday, January 16, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Virginia Perkins; her siblings, Larry Perkins, Lanny Perkins, Loretta Kinion, Lillian Perkins, and an infant brother; and her mother-in-law, Ida Parkus.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, Randy Parkus; her stepchildren, Carol Huckabee, Justin Parkus, and Leslie Parkus; her siblings, LaDonna (Craig) Holliday, Lonnie Perkins, Lawrence Perkins, and Lacey Perkins; her grandchildren, Caleb Huckabee, Alexis Huckabee, and Sky Parkus; her aunt, Sharon (Dave) Brumer; her uncle, Kenny Cobb; her 101 year-old great-aunt, Agnes Brixey; and her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Linda retired from a successful career at Boeing. She was a huge fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and never failed to follow their season and root for them when their games were on the radio. Her dog, Brewsky, held an affectionate place in Linda’s heart. When she wasn’t following the Cardinals, Linda also liked to pass the time by watching one of the classic western movies which were her favorites. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
