Laurie Ann Volz (nee: Rudowicz), of Saint Peters, MO, fortified with Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at the age of 60. Beloved wife of Michael Volz; cherished daughter of the late Richard Francis Rudowicz and the late Delores Ann Rudowicz; devoted mother of Rachel Volz and Steven (fiancé, Katherine) Volz; dear sister of Dianne (Dennis) Carson and Richard (Julie) Rudowicz; Laurie is also survived by her two dogs, Pono and Penny Lane.

Laurie was a full-time homemaker all of her life. She had various jobs including, Thompson Recruitment, Russo’s Catering and Longaberger Baskets. In her high school years, she was Senior Class President and Prom Queen. She was very athletic and was active in softball and volleyball into adulthood. Laurie was known as the instigator of a classic food fight.

Laurie was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to a Pet Rescue of your choice.

    My thoughts and prayers are with each of you. I am so heartbroken and so sad with the loss of Laurie. It just doesn’t seem real. I know she loved each of us more than anything and is now our beautiful guardian angel.

      I am Tina’s best friend. Her heart is breaking. Laurie meant a great deal to Tina. I knew Laurie in our teen years. She was a beautiful person inside and out. I can still hear her laugh. My condolences go out to all that loved her. May your healing process be swift and may you always remember the gift of love she left behind and in time smile in the memory of her.     I am so sad and heartbroken that Rudy is no longer with us. She had such a great personality and was loved by everyone. May you Rest In Peace my friend until we all meet again. Love you with all my heart.

    candle 6Rudy was one of my first friends when I moved to St. Louis my freshman year. We lived close and became fast friends. I always admired her and how everyone loved her. She was beautiful inside and out. The world was a better place with her in it. You will be missed dear friend.
