Kurt Richard Bekebrede
January 12, 1923 — June 5, 2019
Kurt Richard Bekebrede of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at the age of 96. Beloved husband of Cleo Bekebrede; cherished son of the late Herman and Erna Bekebrede; devoted father of Jeanice (Randy) Boettler, Marla (Jim) Rogers, and Charlene (Bob) Lohman; loving grandfather of Jeremy (Jeannie) Boettler, Brian (Myriah) Boettler, Kenton (Elizabeth) Rogers, Justin (Jessica) Rogers, and Devan Rogers, Michelle (Mike) George; dear brother of Lorraine Orf.
Kurt is also preceded in death by four brothers, Elmer Bekebrede, Warren Bekebrede, Henry Bekebrede, and John Bekebrede; and three sisters, Ruth Nau, Mary Jo Ferber, and Lucille Bekebrede.
Kurt was a faithful, lifetime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, and he proudly and honorably served his country in the Merchant Marines during World War II. Kurt enjoyed fishing, bowling, and being outdoors on picnics with his family. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. Kurt was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Memorials may be made in Kurt 's name to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Mt. Carmel Senior Living.
