SO sorry for your family’s loss. Ken and Pat have been our neighbors for years and we’ll miss him dearly. We’ve enjoyed his sharp sense of humor, quick wit, and matter of fact comments about anything and everything! He was such a devoted husband to Pat, I’m hoping they are having a joyful reunion. We’ll miss his teasing as he passes by with his window down and yells something funny out the window. Until we meet again my friend, I’ll miss you.

Until we meet again sweet friend. You are a great testimony to the power of God and the fellowship of AA. I was always impressed by your smiling face and your commitment to others. You trudged the road of happy destiny. You won the war!!

I am sorry for the family’s loss. Ken was an amazing and bright individual. I still remember the first time we all went down to the pond SE of the houses, Kenneth, Dan, Kenny, Erich, Alan and myself as I recall. The horses came down from old lady Hutchinson’s barn and scared me (I believe I was 5 at the time) Kenneth was very comforting to me and I appreciated that.

    Karen, Erich and Kenny,
I was saddened to hear that your Dad passed away. Like someone else said I hope he and your wonderful Mom are enjoying Heaven together. What a great couple they were!! I’ll never forget our times on Oakside Lane, camping on the Current River, me babysitting you three, piano lessons from your Mom. Dinners at our house or yours. Such great memories. Blessing and Peace as you grieve your loss. Comfort in knowing that they are living eternity in Heaven.
Love you all, Julia (van der Linde) Strain and David Strain

    candle 7To Family & Friends,
Ken was an AA brother & dear friend. He always had a joke and a smile. He dearly loved his sobriety and was always willing to share at meetings. We will all miss him and he will remain in our mind and hearts. Our prayers are with all who loved Ken, even though he was Army and I was Navy. (We joked about that a lot)
Sorry I will miss the service at Baue. My AA Home Group meets on Thursday evenings.
    God Bless Y’All
