Conservation Area for Keith Ray Fietsam Memorial. Fietsam, Keith Ray "Feetz", of Winfield, Missouri, died on Sunday, May 11, 2008 at the age of 27. Dearest husband of Katie Jane Marie Fietsam; dear son of Gordon Elmer and Debra Ann Fietsam; dear brother of Ryan Joseph Fietsam; dearest son-in-law of Mike and Connie Silverberg; special brother-in-law of Christopher Silverberg; beloved grandson of Wanita and Gerald Otto, Dorothy Fietsam and the late Elmer Fietsam; dear nephew and God Son of Daniel and Donna Fietsam and nephew of Marty and Bonnie Fietsam; dear cousin of Jeff (Kathy), Kaitlyn, Adam and Andrea. He was a dear cousin and leaves behind his dear friends, Luke, Brett, Matt and Tyler and many too numerous to mention. He was a beloved Coach and Friend. Keith was employed as a J.V. Baseball Coach at Lutheran South High School. Keith's first love was Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Through Him is the only way to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. He was a member and Elder of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, O'Fallon, MO. He belonged to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He attended 8 years at Zion Lutheran Grade School, Belleville, IL; attended one year and graduated from Millstadt Consolidated School System. While at M.C.S., he was a baseball player for the team that captured the Cahokia Conference Championship. He attended Southwestern Illinois College, Lindenwood University where he received his undergrad and Master's, both in Human Resources. He played for the Millstadt Little League and also the Millstadt Blue Sox .He played for both Junior and Senior Legion Baseball teams. While playing for the Belleville West High School Varsity team, he was on the 1997 roster that went to Illinois State Baseball Championships. Also played for the Valmeyer Lakers Mon Clair League. He played for Lindenwood University baseball team where he also was head JV coach and assistant Varsity Coach. During that time the baseball team was in the NAIA College World Series. He was a 2nd Degree Black Belt Tai Kwon Do and was taught Tai Kwon Do at Songs Martial Arts. He was an avid waterfowl hunter and expert duck and goose caller.
