Katherine Marie Heck “Mema”
March 7, 1931 — April 14, 2020
Katherine Marie Heck “Mema” (nee Clark), of St. Peters, Missouri, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at the age of 89. She was born March 7, 1931 to the late Gertrude and Albert Clark. Devoted wife of 65 years to James Edgar Heck; devoted mother of Michael Heck and the late Jimmy Heck; loving grandmother of Joe, Jamie, JD (Katie Wilson), Jackie and Jaycie Heck, Matthew and Jeremy Bennick; treasured great-grandmother of Wilhelmina Ratley, and Evelyn Heck; dear sister of the late Lewis Erwin, Sanford Erwin and Unus Herrod.
Nothing was more important than her family, she loved cooking, especially for our Sunday family dinner. She enjoyed watching Yadi and her St. Louis Cardinals, going dancing, attending church, going camping and taking care of all children. Mema will be remembered as the heart and soul of our family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Katherine's name to American Stroke Association.
Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 all visitations and services will be limited to immediate family. Thank you for your understanding.
