Joyce Sweeten

Joyce Elaine Sweeten, daughter of the late Ralph and Grace Ham was born August 1, 1934 in Campbell, Missouri. On October 16, 1953, Bob and Joyce were married in Piggott, Arkansas. After they returned from Germany where Bob served in the Army, they moved to St. Louis, Missouri where they raised 2 children Terry and Jerry.

Bob survives the home in St. Charles, Missouri. Joyce is the loving mother of Terry (Johnny) Buttry of Puxico, Missouri and Jerry Sweeten of Williamsburg, Missouri; cherished grandmother of Stephanie (Jeremy) Chambers of Forsyth, Missouri and Shannon Alsup of Puxico, Missouri; dear great-grandmother of Karrisa and Hunter Chambers and Bradyn and Kristiana Alsup.

Joyce was a member of St. Charles General Baptist Church where she loved to sing and help others in so many ways. She was a beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister in-law and most of all, a child of God. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Bro. Johnny Buttry will be officiating with Bro. Dennis Mitner.
