John W. Nenninger, Jr. of Saint Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 72 on Tuesday, March 19, 2019. He was preceded in death by his father, John Walter Nenninger Sr. and his wife Tonya Sue Nenninger.
John is survived by his mother, Margaret Nenninger; his children, Kim Bostic, Johnny Nenninger III and Shawn Nenninger; his grandchildren, Ronnie, Brianne, Brandon, Ramsey, Abbie, Taylor, Bryson Bo, and Lilliana; his great-grandchildren, Brinley, Gage, Charleigh, Maisie, and Remi Jo; and his siblings, his twin sister Jane Hazer, Geraldine Holquin, Larry Nenninger, Linda Donovan, Richard Nenninger, Dennis Nenninger, Maggie, Jones, and Patti Holloway.
John belonged to several organizations throughout his life – the Elks Lodge, the VFW, and the Machinist’s Union. He was known as a reader who liked to relax with a good book and how he’d bring a baked ham to family functions where it was always a big hit. The little things in life like solving crosswords in the paper or enjoying his morning coffee brought him a lot of happiness. Friends and family will always remember the great pride he took in his work and how he was a natural joke-teller with a fantastic sense of humor.
Contributions in John’s name can be made to the
Wounded Warrior Project or to
O'Fallon Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5077.
