John Olaf Swinson

Swinson, John Olaf, of Saint Charles, MO, Fortified with the Sacrament of the Holy Mother Church on Saturday, December 10, 2016, at the age of 88. Loving husband of Joan Swinson (nee: Allen); beloved son of Olaf and Mary Swinson; devoted father of Debra (the late Scott) Edler, John R. (Latchanee) Swinson; cherished grandfather of Jeremy and Julie Edler, Joshua Edler and Danny Witzofsky, Kimberly and Justin Scott, Anneka Swinson, Catarina Swinson, and Erica Swinson; treasured great-grandfather of Landon Scott, Parker Scott, Elena Scott, Kade Edler, Emma Edler, and Sophia Edler; dear sister, Hazel (the late Arnie) Ellis; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. John was also preceded in death by his sister, Doris Pimentel.

John proudly served his country in the United States Army. John enjoyed playing the stock market, computers, golfing, and traveling with his wife, Joan. His family was his greatest joy and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
