John Lauderdale, Sr.

Lauderdale, Sr., John of Defiance, MO, died Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Della Sue Lauderdale; cherished son of Willard Lee and Laura Betty Lauderdale; cherished father of John Lauderdale, Jr., Gary (Kim) Lauderdale, and the late Craig Lauderdale; dear father-in-law of the late Susan Lauderdale; loving grandfather of Jason (Kate) Hinklin-Lauderdale, Dan (Kelly) Lauderdale, Duell Lauderdale, Sunny Lauderdale, Angie Myers, and Jodie Myers; treasured great-grandfather of Kaylee Myers, Bryce Huntley, Daniel Lauderdale II, Lilly Lauderdale, Atticus Hinklin-Lauderdale, and Oliver Hinklin-Lauderdale; dear brother of Fayrene Lauderdale, Charles Waylen Lauderdale, and Marie Parker. John is also preceded in death by his siblings, Maylen Bates, Maxine Parsons, Marion "Dick" Lauderdale, and Willard McArthur "Macky" Lauderdale.

John was the founder of Metal Finishing Equipment Company in Warrenton, MO. He was a member of St. Peters Church of Christ. John proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
