John “Ed” E. Dobbs

John “Ed” E. Dobbs, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Jacqueline Dobbs; cherished son of the late Ott and Wava Dobbs. Devoted father of Debbie (Denis) Willhelm, John (Susan) Dobbs, and Brett (Tamara) Dobbs; loving grandfather of Tyson, Bess, Blake, Johnny, Christopher, Sean, Magan, Sherri and Nicci; treasured great-grandfather of 10; dear brother of the late Sharon McCown.

Ed proudly and honorably served in the United States Air Force. He retired after 40 years of service with American Airlines. Ed was a very simple, quiet man and kept to himself, but was known for his sense of humor, even though it was a bit dry. He would do anything for anybody, always had a kind word. Ed was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in John's name to St. Charles County Salvation Army or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
