John Buckley, age 92, of O’Fallon, Missouri, June 30, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Norma Buckley; cherished son of the late Thomas and Erue Buckley; devoted father of Ruth Aubuchon, Janet (Sam) Smith, Karen (Larry) James, Mary Buckley, and Greg (Tina) Buckley; loving grandfather of 9; and treasured great-grandfather of 7. He was also preceded in death by his 5 brothers and 1 sister.
John proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was known for his bright blue eyes and his strong but gentle hands. He was always more concerned about others than himself. He was a perfectionist who helped countless people by building and helping finance their first home. John will be remembered for his witty sense of humor and his love for his family. He was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew him.
