Fischer, Jo (nee: Hall) of St. Peters, MO, died Sunday, October 2, 2016, at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Leo A. Fischer; cherished daughter of the late Charles E. and Vena E. Hall; devoted mother of Dr. Anita Fischer, Marilyn (Michael) Wright, and Rick (Michele Illiano) Fischer; loving grandmother of Daniel (Paula Pedisic) Fischer, Kate Fischer, Macy Wright, and Genevieve Fischer; and dear sister of Mary Valentine and the late Charlene (Leonard) Heincker.
Jo was a wonderful wife, mother and a dignified, sweet lady. There is no person who knew her, who did not like her. She drove a school bus for over 25 years and did volunteer work for schools and hospitals and a great point of pride for her, the St. Louis Christmas Carol Assoc. In her free time, Jo enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family. She was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made to St. Louis Christmas Carolers Association or Barnes Jewish Auxiliary.
