Jimmy “Jim” Lee Chaney
March 5, 1936 — June 22, 2020
Jimmy “Jim” Lee Chaney, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, June 22, 2020 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Sylvia Chaney; cherished son of the late Ira and Mary Chaney; devoted father of Steven (Tina) Chaney; loving grandfather of Myranda (Burton) Collier and Lilyana Chaney; treasured great-grandfather of Easton Collier; dear brother of the late Martha Schaefer and Kathryn Haddox. Also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
Jim proudly and honorably served his Country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He loved fishing and spending time outdoors. Jim was also very hardworking, and although he was a quiet man, he had a presence that spoke volumes. Jim was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorial contributions may be made in Jim’s honor to the American Cancer Society.
