Jim Asher

Jim Asher of O’Fallon, MO, passed away at the age of 78 on Saturday, September 19, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lowell Asher and Julia Asher Kerens.

Jim is survived by his son, Scott (Gina) Asher; his grandchildren, Dean Asher, Nick Asher, and Tara Voyles; his longtime companion, Phyllis Paul Fulton; his sisters, Betty Marler and Rose Presley; his three nieces and two nephews; and his several great-nieces-and-nephews.

Jim enjoyed a successful thirty-seven career with TWA where he worked as a ramp crew chief. He was an avid outdoorsman who liked to spend his days hunting and fishing. Jim maintained memberships in several organizations such as IAM, the Elks Lodge, and Sons of AMVETS and he greatly enjoyed the community he found in his clubs. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial contributions in Jim’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
