Jean M. Saak

Jean M. Saak of O’Fallon, MO, passed away at the age of 88 on Thursday, August 6, 2020. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earl D. Saak; her parents, Earl Batton and Juanita Pence; and her siblings, Wanda, Nancy, Fird “Bubby”, and Paula.

Jean is survived by her children, Mark (Lynn Bunyard) Saak, Linda (Walter Cross) Baugh, and Tracy (Dave) Phifer; her brother, Randy, and her sister, Karen; her grandchildren, Cody, Shelby (Dylan), and Anna; her great-grandchildren, Paisleigh, Zoey, and Zane; and she was a loving aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Jean was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she enjoyed singing as part of their church choir. She retired after a successful career of over thirty years at McDonnell-Douglas. After retirement, Jean served as a coordinator for the St. Charles County Golden Games. Jean loved taking trips to Table Rock Lake for a fun and relaxing weekend. Tennis was Jean’s sport and she always looked forward to the times when she could have an exciting match as she was an avid player.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jean’s name may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association.
