Jay A. Vogelsang, 63, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 30, 2017. Beloved husband of Babette (Babs) Vogelsang (nee Scott); loving father of Jessica (Justin) Billmeyer (nee Vogelsang) and Lindsay Vogelsang; dear son of Gustave (Pearl) Vogelsang and the late Betty J. Vogelsang (nee Toler); dear brother of Carla (John) Cox, Gale (Valerie) Vogelsang, Douglas (Cindy) Vogelsang; dear brother-in-law of Routley “Butch” Scott, the late Keith (Celeste) Scott, Wayne (Donna) Scott and Michelle (Thomas) Wessling; dear uncle, great-uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to many.
Jay loved traveling and hanging out with his friends and family. He enjoyed taking care of his yard, golfing, and staying busy. Jay was very proud of his daughters and loved them very much. Jay was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
