I will forever remember our midnight movie premieres, his belly laugh, goofy faces, and our entire conversations with Seussical words. I will always feel blessed to have had been involved in our friendship – it was and is treasured. My friend, you are loved and missed more than you would have realized.

I have no words for the sorrow I feel for Jared’s loved ones. I am grateful to have been involved in this incredible support system, even in a small way. I will continue to pray for your strength and patience as you continue to grieve. I hope you all know to call me at anytime to share in memories, to have a willing ear to listen, or to have hands to help lessen physical stress around the house.

I used to babysit Jared when he was little. He was a great buddy for my sons, Nick and Josh. He did not only appreciate the Super Heroes but he lived like one. He fought the big battle like one and in the end he did Win. He achieved the ultimate goal of now being with God and his grandparents and is probably sharing Spiderman stories with them now. he was a wonderful little boy who became an even more wonderful young man. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Our hearts break for you but we feel blessed to have had Jared in our lives at some point or another.

The first we saw you, you were only 6 months old. Then we saw you and your grandma Diane at the Peaks of Otter, your 2nd trip to VA. Then you and Lacy came for a visit, and we had a birthday suprize for Lacy,at Uncle Ed’s. Then when your grandma Diane passed away. The last time we saw you was at the Peaks for a family gathering. Jared, you will always be in our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers go to all of you at this sad time. We love you all.

Although I didn’t know you as a child since we lived in Texas, I saw plenty of pictures through the years at Grandma Hall’s and you were the spitting image of your daddy, my cousin. I did get to know you as a young adult and was impressed with the young man you had become. You didn’t even mind when us “older” female cousins paid for a dance with you at your wedding reception to “Brick House”+G-you went right along with it! Jared, I know you will be missed dearly and I am so glad I finally got to know you these last few years. My sincere condolences to wife, Lacey, parents, Powell and Anita, brother, Jon and extended family and friends.

My dear, sweet cousin, Anita and family. I wish I could have known Jared, I know I would have loved him as much as I love you. My heart hurts for you. I know that your sorrow is deep. I pray that you will find peace in knowing that he is with the Lord and in a glorified, healthy body. Love you, B.
