Jane Ada Wood, of Wentzville, MO, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at the age of 80. Cherished daughter of the late Gladys C. and Eugene B. Wood, Sr. Devoted mother of Shirrelle (Greg) Rogers; loving grandmother of Carmella Marquise (Anthony Brown) Burris, James Walter (Krystal Brown) Wooten, Jr., Johnathan Shea (Jasmine) Burris, Tishawna Rogers, Leslye Rogers, and Carla Rogers; treasured great-grandmother of Jazmine Walker, Brandon Markise Burris Evans, Deja Cooper, India Cooper, Anthony Tyrone Valentine, Cameron Rogers, Jordyn Richard, Imani Standford, Jada Wooten, Mariah Wooten, Julianna Shea Burris, Christopher James Wooten, and Sebastian Rounds; dear sister of Garry Wood and Eugene Wood, Jr.; her four legged grandchild, Ms. D "Deliah." aunt of Michelle Parker and Dana Wood; and godmother of Tammi Talley.

Jane moved from Roxbury, MA to Versailles, MO in 1963 where she and her daughter resided until Shirrelle graduated high school. Jane and Shirrelle relocated to St. Charles County where Jane begin working at True Manufacturing as a Sheet Metal worker. She retired after 33 years and four months of hard work and dedication. Jane was a volunteer at St. Joseph's West Hospital in Lake Saint Louis. She loved music, especially Whitney Houston and Jackie Wilson, but most of all, Jane enjoyed being around her family. Jane was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Jane's name to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
