James W. Hodges
July 28, 1938 — August 18, 2020
James W. Hodges of St. Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 82 on Tuesday, August 18, 2020. He was preceded in death by his children, Robert Hodges and Jennifer Hodges; his parents, Willard Hodges and Evelyn "Sue" Mclung; his brother, Jackie Lee Hodges; and his stepsister, Marybeth Mclung.
James is survived by his daughter, Sue (Steven) Boyd; his sister, Carol Brockmeyer; his grandchildren, Ryan Hodges, Wesley Hodges, Alycia (Dan) Carmi, Amanda (John) Toenjes, Kimberly (Dustin) Epperson, and Kenny Kabak; his great-grandchildren, Siena, Callie, L.J., Tenley, and Louis; his nieces and nephews, Harold Hanger, Kelly Snieder, Trisha White, and Patrick Pinnell; and his other siblings, Beverly and Steven.
James proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. After his service, James went on to enjoy a successful career at McDonnell Douglas. James had a kind, compassionate spirit and truly enjoyed helping people whenever he could. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorial contributions in James’s name may be made to an organization of the Donor's Choice.
