James R. “Bob” Jeffress

Jeffress, James R. “Bob” of St. Charles, Missouri, died Saturday, December 5, 2015, at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Martha L. Hancock; cherished son of the late Irvin R. and Mary R. Jeffress; devoted father of Cheryl (James) Ecker, Barbara (Mark) Leiber, and Brenda Jeffress; loving grandfather of Meryl (Kevin) Raines, Andrew (Katie) Ecker, Joseph Leiber, Jessica Ecker, and Deanna (Val II) Jensen; treasured great-grandfather of Emily Ecker; dear brother of the late Richard (Frankie) Jeffress.
Bob proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII, and was a member of American Legion Post 312. He was a member and Consulting Rosarian for the American Rose Society of St. Charles. He enjoyed traveling in his Rockwood motor home with his wife. He loved spending time with family, especially watching his grandkids sporting events. Bob was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cardinals Care.
