James H. Scott “Scotty”

James H. Scott “Scotty” of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at the age of 78 Years. Beloved husband of recently departed Louise M. Scott “Sissy” for almost 60 years; cherished son of the late Leo and Anna Scott; devoted father of David (Carol) Scott, Arlene (Bobby) Hill, Elizabeth "Liz" Scott, Kathleen “Kathy” Scott, and Carol Ann Scott; loving grandfather of Andrew Michael (Joanne) Scott, Stephanie (Rob) Lutostanski, Danny (Julie) Hill, Katie (Jesse) Goodman, Michael James (Maggie) Hiles, Faith Ann Hiles, and Benjamin Thomas Hiles; treasured great-grandfather of James Scott, Dakota Babb, Evelyn, Adam, and Vivian Lutostanski, and Khael and Rowan Goodman; dear brother of Donald (Dodie) Scott and MaryAnne (Gus) Spalding. James is preceded in death by his brothers Leo (Tommie) Scott, Leonard (Frances) Scott, Norbert (Virginia) Scott, and Louis Scott.

Scotty proudly served his country in the Army of the United States. He was a member of Communication Workers of America and the Pioneers Association. In his spare moments he enjoyed the outdoors by fishing, hunting, and gardening. Scotty was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made to Marygrove or Christian Motorcyclist Association (in memo line: Run for the Son).

Visitation and services will be honoring both James H. Scott “Scotty”  and his wife Louise M. Scott “Sissy”.
