James C. Colestock, Jr.

November 16, 1933 — April 20, 2019

James Clifford Colestock, Jr., of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Earlene H. Colestock (nee Kohler); cherished son of the late James C. and Clara Colestock; devoted father of Helen (the late Mark ) Wilcox, and James “Jim” A. (Margo) Colestock, Sr.; loving grandfather of Nathan (Danna) Wilcox, Adam (Deann) Wilcox, Jimmy A. Colestock, Jr.; treasured great-grandfather of five, and great-great-grandfather of four and friend to many.

James proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. Following his military service, James went on to work for General Electric where he was a mount mechanic. His son, Jim, followed in his footsteps. He was an avid bowler and golfer, playing in several leagues over the years. James loved watching sports, especially St. Louis University, DeSmet, and Blues hockey, and the ever-popular St. Louis Cardinals baseball. Most of all, James was an awesome Dad and Grandpa. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
