Jackie Jones, 81, died in her home in St. Peters on April 5, 2021. Jackie was born in St. Charles April 5, 1940. She graduated from Duchesne high school in 1958. Jackie worked at McDonald Douglas for 30 years and retired as a supervisor. She was devoted to and loved the V.F.W Women’s Auxiliary. She participated throughout the organization achieving national council member and was an active member up until her death. Later in life Jackie enjoyed the friendship and support of those in the Red Hat Society. She cared deeply for her country, community, family, and friends.

Jackie is survived by her husband Paul Jones, who was her best friend and soulmate. They shared 42 happy and adventurous years together. Their children; Kevin (Dee), Karen, Linda, and Steve (Ruth), Susan (Dave), and Gary (Katie), 11 grandchildren; Beth, Matthew, Katy, Michael, Chelsey, Samantha, Shelby, James, Anne, and Bella, 6 great-grandchildren, her sister Cathy Kleeschulte, and many nieces and nephews whom she loved. She is preceded in death by her parents Dorine and Marshall, her brothers and sisters, and granddaughter Meagan.

Jackie will live on in the hearts and minds of those she touched in life.

    My sweet Sister I will miss so much! We sure had lots of good times n our 3 hour lunch lots of laughsn love you were my best! Freind n I love you so much my sister in crime boy could we shop for candy,her son Kevin got really tickle at us!You will make a really wonderful Angel in Heaven my sweet Sister till we meet again!

    candle 6Dudette, Thank you for all your help during more than a decade in the numerous Auxiliary of the VFW. I enjoyed working with you during our leadership positions in Post 2866 and in 9th District.

    Jackie was such a special person and I will treasure so many memories of our VFWA travels and adventures. She always had a story to share and loved life and her family and friends without reservation.     She always had this amazing ability to cut right through anything and get something done! I enjoyed working with her and seeing her on walks through the neighborhood. I will always remember her wisdom and heart.My sympathy to her family and a prayer for your comfort.

      I am so sorry to hear of Jackie’s passing, mo condolences to the family. I worked with Jackie at McDonnell Douglas fo many years. She was a wonderful person who would help anyone who came to her desk.

    candle 5I will miss Jackie so much! She was one of my favorite clients! I describe her to people as an Elvis loving, hip grandma that was just so down to earth!! She will always be in my heart!
