Irene E. Lee (nee Scheibe), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020 at the age of 89. Loving wife of the late Dalton "Gene" I. Lee; beloved daughter of the late Ernest Henry and Fern Marie Scheibe; devoted mother of Dennis (Bernadette) Lee, David (Patty) Lee, Jeff  (Donna) Lee, Laura (Stan) Skillington, and Lisa Lee; cherished grandmother of Jacki, Autumn, Dominique, Katherine, Annie, Jon, Rachel, Erin, Phillip, Charlotte, Leah, and Natalie and ten great-grandchildren. Irene is also preceded in death by her sister, Fern Chalcraft; and brother, Robert Scheibe.

Irene was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Irene's name to the Alzheimer’s Association.

    candle 7I was very sad to hear that Aunt Irene has passed away. All of my memories of Aunt Irene and Uncle Gene are happy ones. They were some of the nicest people I’ve ever know.

    I will pray for Aunt Irene, my cousins and their families.

    Carol and I are very sorry to hear about the passing of aunt Irene. Irene and Gene were always such nice people I am filled with great memories of my youth when I was interacting with them. We will keep Aunt Irene in our prayers and we will make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association in her name.

    candle 8Carol and I are very sorry to hear about the passing of Aunt Irene. Gene and Irene were always such nice people and I have fond memories of spending time with them when I was growing up. Thanksgiving at their house was great fun and so delicious. We will keep Aunt Irene in our prayers and we will male a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association in her name.
