Glenna R. Wagner

April 25, 1933 — August 30, 2020

Glenna R. Wagner (nee Freiberger), of St. Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2020 at the age of 87. Fondly known as “Pete” to her family and friends, she was the beloved wife of the late James Wagner, with whom she shared 63 years of marriage. She was the cherished daughter of John and Mary Freiberger; devoted mother of Janice Finn and James "Jim" (Marcie Cockrell) Wagner; loving grandmother of Jacob “Jake” (Erin) Finn; treasured great-grandmother of Jackson and Jordyn Finn; dear sister of the late Lois (John) Lutz, and aunt of Ronald J. Lutz.

Glenna was an active member of Bogey Hills Baptist Church, and generously volunteered her time with Meals on Wheels. She loved to watch Cardinals Baseball, Mizzou Football, and Pro Football, especially the Packers and Chiefs. Glenna was an extremely gifted cook, and was a talented seamstress as well. She enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, and liked to read books and work puzzles. She had a special fondness for hummingbirds, clowns, and pigs, but nothing gave her as much joy as spending time with her beloved family. Glenna was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorial contributions may be made in Glenna's honor to Bogey Hills Baptist Church or Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis.

Service will be private. Interment at St. Charles Memorial Gardens.
