Even though I only saw Mrs. Fleming occasionally, maybe bumping into her once a month, those brief encounters brought an overwhelming flood of grace and feeling I had seen the face of Christ. Even her occasional notes on Facebook tended to make my day in ways I didn’t expect. To the entire Fleming family, you have my deepest sympathies. To Mrs. Fleming: Well done, good and faithful servant.

To Susie, all siblings, all family: Although I did not know your mother well, I have memories of her driving that blue & white suburban back in the 70’s – to Borromeo and the Academy. She was always smiling – always. It is where you get your smile! I just heard of your dear mother’s passing – may she rest in the Eternal Light of Our Lord Jesus Christ. May God grant you much peace during this time, and the great memories that will forever be shared amongst your family & friends. Amen

Sissy was such an incredible woman who touched so many lives. There was not a dry eye in our house when mom was telling us what was happening. My entire family is heartbroken to hear the news of her passing. She was such a great friend to my parents and family. She will be missed but not forgotten, especially with all of the beautiful photos she has taken over the years. She was somehow always there capturing the most special moments. Mom would have liked to had her friend with her a bit longer but she knows she is at peace in heaven with loved ones and friends. We all know she had a direct ticket with golden wings waiting.
    Love –

    Rob,
From the Netherlands, my condolences on the loss of your mother. When we met during numerous (iron-)conferences around the world in the last 15 years, we also often spoke about our aging parents. It turned out they happened to be of the same age. With the late passing of your father and now your mother, your parents will become a memory. Of what you told me, I am sure this memory will become a treasure.
