Gary M. Wolfe passed away April 1, 2021, at the age of 54. Cherished son of Paul L. (Mary Kay) Wolfe and the late Lois Mae Wolfe; father of Ben Mackin; dear brother of Dave (Carla) Wallace, Diana (Dennis) Morgan, Darryl (Tammy) Wolfe, Paula Novak, and Valerie (Phil) Combs; Gary is survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Gary proudly and honorably served in the United States Army. He dedicated many years to working as a truck driver. In his younger years, Gary enjoyed playing sports and playing the guitar. Gary loved animals and he was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. Gary was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Humane Society of Missouri or the USO Mobile Program through the Lambert Airport.

The family requests that guests of the services wear Cardinals baseball gear.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic Baue Funeral Homes does require all family members and guests to wear a mask while visiting our facilities. Social distancing is required, and guests should stay at least 6 feet apart. Thank you for your understanding.

Gary was the closest thing I had to a little brother. I spent great deal of my childhood hanging out at the Wolfe house with Darryl and the bunch, and always had a great time . They were like a second family to me . I hadn’t seen Gary in quite awhile, but will always have fond memories of him and his ability to “ tell it like it is “.
    Farewell for now .

Some of my earliest and fondest memories were of hanging out at the Wolfe house as a kid. Many fun times spent with Gary just doing goofy kid stuff. I am so sorry for your loss. Sincerest condolences to the Wolfe family.
