Garry Helferstay

Helferstay, Garry, of O’Fallon, MO, died Saturday, March 19, 2016, at the age of 38. Beloved husband of Jennifer “Jenn” Helferstay (nee: Ridilla); cherished son of Donald "Don" and Kathleen "Kathy" Helferstay; loving nephew of Ron Helferstay and Bill (Sharon) Piant. He is also survived by many other extended family and friends.

Garry loved being on the water and spent endless hours with his family and friends fishing at Table Rock Lake and was a member of the Joe Bass Team Trio.  Growing up he was very successful in all of the sports he competed in such as baseball, golf and bowling.  Having over (100) 300 games and (60) 800's in his career he was an idol to many of his peers.  Garry was also the youngest person to be inducted into the St. Louis Bowling Hall of Fame in 2011.  He was dearly loved by so many people in and out of the bowling community, and will be missed by all who knew him.
