Franz Zinsser

Franz Joseph Zinsser, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Friday, March 26, 2021 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Audrey Ann Zinsser (nee: Roth); cherished son of the late Franz and Margaret Zinsser (nee: Rieth); devoted father of Ann Greenspan and Mark (Lynn) Zinsser; loving grandfather of Hailey (Adam) Hunter, Lauren Rains, Rebekah Greenspan and Robert Greenspan; treasured great-grandfather of Aiden Hunter and Alyssa Hunter; dear brother of Mary Ann (the late Kenneth) Volk, the late Carl (Judie) Zinsser and the late Raymond (Jan) Zinsser; brother-in-law of Theresa (the late Wayne) Snider. Franz is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Franz proudly and honorably served in the Army Reserve. Franz retired after 33 years of service with McDonnell Douglas-Boeing as an Aeronautical Engineer. He was an anatomical donor to St. Louis University Medical School. Franz was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
