Floyd G. Smith

Floyd G. Smith, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at the age of 88. Loving husband of Dorothy E. Smith; beloved son of the late William and Cora Alice Smith; devoted father of Gregory L (Beverly) Smith, Karen (Randy) Barks, David (Karen) Smith, and Douglas Smith; cherished grandfather of Justin, Zachary, Sarah, Jessica; treasured great-grandfather of Hunter Thomas Smith; dearest brother of Dwayne (Louise) Smith; dear brother-in-law of Lawrence and Janice Heskett; beloved uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Floyd is preceded in death by his twin brother, Lloyd D. Smith; three sisters, Violet Smith, Thelma Plank, Wilma Stamper; three brothers, William Smith, Freddy Smith, Melvin "Bud" Smith; and half-brother, Arnett Smith.

Floyd proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of U.A.W. Floyd enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time in the great outdoors. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
