Finis Jay French
August 9, 1944 — February 11, 2020
Finis Jay French, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at the age of 87. Loving husband of the late Peggy French and the late Wanda Fischer; beloved son of the late Collier and Lubie French; devoted father of Deborah E. (Phillip) Long, Cindy (William) Hardwick, and Christopher J. (Ann) French; cherished grandfather of nine and great-grandfather of four; good friend of Chris Fuller; dear brother of Jerry (Marsha) French and Mitchell French. Finis is also preceded in death by his son, Anthony French.
Finis retired from the Dial after many years of service. He was a proud member of Teamsters Local 618. Finis absolutely loved music especially loved country music. He was a member of the Norville Dollar Band, who opened for many national acts in the 1960's. Finis was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Finis's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
