Ethel C. Elmendorf

Ethel C. Elmendorf (nee Wiechens), of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2020 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Henry Elmendorf; cherished daughter of the late August and Clara Wiechens; devoted mother of Donna (Don) Roettger and Nancy (Jerry) Calvert; loving grandmother of Jerry M. Calvert, Kurt Calvert, and the late Charlie Calvert; dear sister of Dorothy Freese, and the late Elmer Wiechens, Oscar Wiechens, and Pearl Hallemeier; Ethel is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.

Ethel was a lifetime parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. In her free time she enjoyed fishing, visiting the Lake of the Ozarks, and loved to watch her hummingbirds at her feeder. Ethel loved to bake, especially cookies, and was an excellent cook. Ethel loved and enjoyed life, most of all she loved her family. Ethel was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made in Ethel's honor to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
