Esther A. Bruns

Esther A. Bruns, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at the age of 94.  Loving wife of the late Warren E. Bruns; beloved daughter of the late Ben and Hilda Bruns; devoted mother of Joyce (Gary) Owen, Alan (Ann) Bruns, Gail (Rod) Herrmann, and Lisa (Mike) Stim; and cherished grandmother of Alex Herrmann and Abby Herrmann. Esther was also preceded in death by her siblings, Edwin (Agnes) Bruns, Mildred Bruns, Ervin (Erma) Bruns, Melvin (Dorothy) Bruns, Florence Bruns, Emil (Hermina) Bruns, Vernon Bruns, and Linda (Vance) Hollrah.

Esther was a lifetime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Charles, Missouri, where she was an active member of the Lydia Society and the Gardening Club.  She enjoyed dancing, watching the Cardinals play baseball, playing cards, and working in the yard.  She was always present at the school and sporting events of her grandkids, and she truly enjoyed spending time with her family.  She was dearly loved, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
