Elva E. Hatcher
March 2, 1924 — October 11, 2019
Elva E. Hatcher, (nee: Schien) of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2019 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Clifford Hatcher; cherished daughter of the late Louis and Wilhelmina Schien. Devoted mother of John Hatcher, Linda (Ross) O'Malley, Brenda (Phil) Clark; dear sister to Kermit, Darrell, Kenneth, and Leon Schien; loving aunt, relative and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth Wise and Millie Hughson, and her brothers, Clarence and Leroy Schien.
Elva enjoyed growing African violets and going for walks. She loved collecting bright leaves, pine cones, and gum balls for crafting projects. Elva also enjoyed spending time going out to family dinners and listening to music. Most of all, she loved her trips to the wineries to listen to her daughter perform. Elva was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Elva's name to Alzheimer's Association.
